Siudek/Siudek are married to each other since spring 2000. He proposed at the closing banquet of the 2000 World |
Championships. Dorota Siudek formerly competed under her maiden name Zagorska. Siudek/Siudek are |
competing internationally in Championships since 1995 and were the first Polish pair skaters to medal at Worlds |
when they won the bronze in 1999. Dorota Siudek also competed in singles, whereas Siudek has competed in |
pairs internationally since 1989 with various partners and participated in 13 World Championships. The couple |
moved to Canada in spring 2003 to train with Richard Gauthier. Dorota Siudek injured her shoulder in a fall at the |
2004 Cup of Russia. The couple was forced to withdraw from the event and was unable to compete in the 2005 |
European Championships. |
