Hermann/Hermann are brother and sister and teamed up in 1997. They moved to France for training in 2010, then split up for a short while. They missed the 2010/2011 season recovering from various injuries and have now moved to Berlin for training. Hermann/Hermann have five more siblings. Coach René Lohse is the 2004 World bronze medalist (with Kati Winkler).
