Pushkash/Kiselev are cousins (their mothers are sisters) and teamed up in 2000. They moved from Nizhni Novgorod to Moscow in 2002 on the invitation of a coach. Pushkash's father used to be a competitive marathon runner and now plays volleyball. Kiselev's mother used to be a competitive horse back rider.
