 James/Bonheur teamed up in December 2007. James competed in singles for Great Britain at the international level and was National Champion in 2006. Her sister Melyssa is a competitive ice dancer in Great Britain. James moved to France to skate with Bonheur in 2007. She meanwhile obtained French citizenship. The couple now has been training in the USA.
