Vasiljevs is the first Latvian skater to earn a medal at the European Championships (bronze in 2022), to earn a medal at the ISU Grand Prix (silver at John Wilson Trophy 2022) and to win medals in the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (silver at JGP Riga and JGP Torun in 2015). Vasiljevs switched coaches following the 2015/16 season and moved to Switzerland. Coach Stephane Lambiel is a two-time World Champion and the 2006 Olympic silver medalist, competing for Switzerland. | |||||||||||
