Uno is the first skater to perform a quadruple flip in competition (at the 2016 Team Challenge Cup). Uno was nominated for the ISU Skating Award 2024 in the category "Most Valuable Skater". He is an Olympic silver medalist in the Team Event at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. He went to the ice rink for fun with his father when he was five years old and liked skating immediately. He looks up to 2010 World Champion Daisuke Takahashi. Uno switched coaches in 2019 and trains part-time in Switzerland. Coach Stephane Lambiel is the 2006 Olympic silver medalist and the 2005 and 2006 World Champion. |
