Hendrickx is the first Belgian single skater to win the European title and the first to win a medal at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships. She is the first from her country to earn a World medal since 1948 when she won silver in 2022. She is also the first female skater from Belgium to win a medal at the ISU European Championships (2023) and the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (bronze at Gran Premio d'Italia 2021) and to win an ISU Grand Prix (Grand Prix de France 2022). Hendrickx received the ISU Skating Award 2024 in the category "Best Costume" for her Free Skating costume in the 2023/24 season. Her older brother Jorik competed at the Olympic level in figure skating and is coaching her now. Hendrickx missed the 2019/20 season and the 2019 European Championships due to injury. | |||||||||||
