Tarasova/Morozov are silver medalists in the Team Event at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. They teamed up in 2012 on their coaches' suggestion. Tarasova competed at the international junior level in singles before switching to pairs in 2010.  Tarasova cut her leg in a practice accident and received ten stitches the morning of the Pairs Short Program at the 2017 World Championships, but competed nevertheless. She also cut her chin in practice at 2018 GP Rostelecom Cup and needed five stitches. Coach Maxim Trankov is the 2014 Olympic Pairs Champion. They also work with coaches Alexei Tikhonov (2000 World Pairs Champion) and Pavel Sliusarenko.
