Shaidorov is the first skater to land a triple Axel-quadruple toeloop combination in competition (Grand Prix de France 2024) and the first to perform a triple Axel-Euler-quadruple Salchow in competition (ISU Grand Prix Finale 2024). He is the first skater from Kazakhstan to win an ISU Championship title in ten years (2025 ISU Four Continents Championships). His father is a figure skating coach. Shaidorov looks up to two-time Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu (JPN). Coach Alexei Urmanov (RUS) is the 1994 Olympic Champion. | |||||||||||
