Shaidorov is the first skater to land a triple Axel-quadruple toeloop combination in competition (Grand Prix de France 2024) and the first to perform a triple Axel-Euler-quadruple Salchow in competition (ISU Grand Prix Finale 2024). His father is a figure skating coach. Shaidorov looks up to two-time Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu (JPN). Coach Alexei  Urmanov (RUS) is the 1994 Olympic Champion.
