Petrokina is the first Estonian skater to win a medal on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (bronze at 2023 Skate America). She was nominated for the ISU Skating Awards 2023 in the category "Best Newcomer". Petrokina sat out the 2020/21 season recovering from severe illness (aplastic anemia). She missed the 2024 European and National Championships after breaking her leg in December 2024.
