Brezina started skating after the 1998 Olympic Games, because he wanted to play ice hockey. His father told him that he needs to learn how to skate first, Brezina took lessons and stayed in figure skating. Skaters he looks up to are Jozef Sabovcik and Jeffrey Buttle. His sister Eliska (six years younger) is competing at the international level as well. He switched coaches and moved to the USA for training following the 2015/16 season. Brezina got married to former single and pair skater Danielle Montalbano in June 2017. Their daughter Naya Rose was born in February 2020. | |||||||||||
